National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum
From humble beginnings, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has become the nation’s most respected and popular sports institution. The Museum, which officially opened its doors on June 12, 1939, honors excellence, preserves history, and connects generations. More than 350,000 fans and friends of baseball visit the Hall of Fame each year. We encourage everyone to visit Cooperstown and support the Hall of Fame and the important work it does and the pleasure it brings all of us fans.

HOF ’07
Not really a license, but we’re honored to be able to display this cool logo. Created by Ironclad to celebrate the election of Cal Ripken, Jr. to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, this logo marks one more milestone in a legendary career.
The class of 2007 will inducted into the HOF on July 29.

Cal Farewell Patch
MLB issued this patch in 2001 to celebrate the career of one of the game's most beloved players, and to honor his retirement at the end of his 21st season. The logo was worn on the right sleeve of Orioles players, and appeared as an oversize graphic near the on-deck circle at Orioles Park at Camden Yards.

Baltimore Orioles
If you don’t know what this symbol stands for, we can’t imagine why you’re visiting this site. For many years it was understood that the standard of play throughout the league was playing ball the "Oriole Way." It stood for a strong work ethic, attention to fundamentals, and a level of grace that made the Baltimore Orioles one of the most respected teams in all of sports.
For baseball fans, the names Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Earl Weaver, Dave McNally, Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, and Cal Ripken, Jr. all evoke memories of a style of play that combined a level of skill and passion worthy of great players from any era. How ’bout dem Os?

Baltimore Orioles
This Baltimore Orioles logo was the Baltimore team standard only from 1992 to 1994. It's still a favorite of Baltimore Orioles fans because it was the last time the name Baltimore appeared in the Baltimore Orioles logo. Baltimore takes pride in its team, and many of us in Baltimore were thrilled to see our favorite sons carry the Baltimore name beyond Baltimore. For a long time, the Baltimore Orioles, along with the Colts, were Baltimore’s national identity. (And let’s not get started on the Colts.)
Ripken Baseball
Cal has continued to accomplish terrific things in his post-playing career, and most of his projects involve baseball. Cal's support for the game continues his father's philosophy that the lessons needed to compete in the game, attention to fundamentals, preparation, and dedication, serve as worthy lessons for a successful life beyond baseball.
Recognizing the value of this philosophy, in 1999 the Babe Ruth youth baseball league renamed its 12-and-under division after Cal. Each year, the Cal Ripken league organizes more than 700,000 young players, teaching them the skills and developing character that enrich them byond the game they're playing.
You can learn all about these ventures by checking out Ripken Baseball. You can get up-to-date information on his teams, ballparks, books, and all of the current Ripken family charitable foundation projects.
As anyone familiar with Cal would expect, he continues to set an example of excellence in every endeavor he undertakes.
